The 7-channel 150W VSX-2020 aims to recreate audio as close to the original as possible. The AV receiver is highly
versatile providing compatibility with all key interfaces and content formats along with LAN connectivity for internet
radio. Using an optional Bluetooth adaptor, the VSX-2020 is ready for wireless Bluetooth audio streaming from any
Bluetooth-enabled device. Sound Retriever AIR technology restores sound pressure and density that were reduced
during the Bluetooth compression process and reduces transmission noise. The receiver is capable to provide a 3D
experience with the latest HDMI version 1.4, can decode HD Audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD
Master Audio, and features Dolby ProLogic IIz height channel processing for an enhanced front surround sound
experience. In addition, Phase Control overcomes phase lag between channels and significantly improves multichannel
sound. When connected to a new Blu-ray player via HDMI, the player and receiver use a unique PQLS Multi-
Surround technology for a jitterless audio transmission. The VSX-2020 comes equipped with a learning remote and
is RF remote ready. Pioneer’s iControl AV application adds to the fun factor by allowing you to use a compatible
iPhone or iPod touch as a remote for controlling the receiver’s main functions.
